Best Friend's K-9 Creations stemmed for my love of animals especially dogs. I currently have 4 dogs and 2 birds, one which is a rescue. I also love my job at Cedar Dale Pet Resort in Genoa City, WI. Pretty much I am with my dogs or clients dog's 24/7. I wanted to feed our furry friends something other than what was being offered on the commercial market today.
I have done many hours and hours of research on dog nutrition and ingredients. Read what the experts and vets recommended and what can be harmful to your pet. I got together with my best friend of 23 years, and we came up with safe, yummy recipes for biscuits and treats. Coming up with the name was easy...Best Friend's K-9 Creations. We are both WAHMs, with large families. We both love to bake, she has been decorating cakes for 5+ years. Her cakes are always the hit of any party. She also has personal experience with food allergies, especially wheat-free and gluten-free cooking and baking.

We will be participating in a second charity event on August 24, 2008. New Beginnings Shih Tzu & Friends Rescue 
with other rescue groups will be holding a special event Shih Tzu Shuffle in Petrifying Springs Park, Kenosha WI , 11:00AM-4:00PM.
This event will help to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome Shih Tzu, Shih Tzu mixes, and other small dogs that need help. There will be a dog walk, silent auction, pet fair, games, prizes, food and lots of fun!! We will be donating a yummy gift basket for the silent auction. Sniff us out at the pet fair, and treat your beloved K-9 to some tasty biscuits and treats. You can check out either of the links above for event times and any details.
We participated in our first charity event. We donated a big basket filled with our treats to Lakeland Animal Welfare Society. This was for their Second Chances ~ Charity Dinner. The dinner was held at The Grand Geneva in Lake Geneva, WI on May 2, 2008.
